STAGE 29 STUDIOS DANCE CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS FROM BEGINNERS THROUGH TO EXPERIENCED DANCERS.

CORDE LISSE (AERIAL ROPE)

Corde Lisse is an aerial circus skill or act that involves acrobatics on a vertically hanging rope. The name is French for “smooth rope”.

A minimum level of intermediate silks is required to participate in this exciting new class. Learn to wrap, drop, roll and fly, an exhilarating apparatus new to Stage 29 Studios.

Circus Training Australia Syllabus Level 1 to Advanced

Aerial silks are especially great for improving upper body strength - it's one of the best ab workouts around. Great news is that aerial silk workouts count as cardio too while providing strength-building benefits. This makes aerial silks a great form of exercise to improve upper body strength and to aid weight loss.

Circus Training Australia Syllabus Level 1 to Advanced

The aerial hoop (also known as the lyraaerial ring or cerceau/cerceaux) is a circular steel apparatus (resembling a hulahoop) suspended from the ceiling, on which circus artists may perform aerial acrobatics. It can be used static, spinning, or swinging. It is great to build upper body strength, flexibility, cardio and will definitely help loose weight.

Teen Pole is a great class for fitness, stamina and self challenge.  Following Stage 29 syllabus designed in line with IPDFA.

CLASSICAL BALLET

Ballet is the foundation of dance. Ballet classes and A.T.O.D. Ltd ballet exams are encouraged in conjunction with other dance styles in Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo. Students study the A.T.O.D. Ltd syllabus gaining lifelong benefits of co-ordination, flexibility, strength, poise & improved posture. Junior Ballet classes love to express themselves through mime, where we explore & develop their imagination! Classical, Lyrical, Character & Neo-Classical styles are taught. Mini Ballet is perfect for our Ready Set Ballet students starting school.

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary, or modern dance, is a classically based style that explores new types of movement to portray an intention or display the abilities of the human body. There are no fixed rules with contemporary, you will be challenged each week. We use skills learnt from many sources including the ATOD Contemporary syllabus.

TAP DANCING

Tap is studied through the A.T.O.D. Ltd syllabus. Restore your tapping enthusiasm with fresh combinations specific to various tempo, style and ages. These classes are focused towards teaching dancers co-ordination, skill and technique as well as how to get the best sound possible from their feet!

LITTLE SPINNERS/TEENS AERIAL HAMMOCK BEGINNERS to advanced

Little Spinners will learn to wrap, climb, twist, twirl and drop in our aerial hammocks class. So much fun to be had taught by Jenny.
